You know the drill, a week of gnarly skateboarding every gnarly hill in the UK in gnarly arctic conditions. Wrap up warm and bring plenty of supplies and beverages.
Calling all downhill skateboarders and adventurers, its back. This January the biggest names in downhill skateboarding will be joining forces to embark on a quest the length of the UK mainland to get their winter fix of adrenaline, speed and slide. Journeying through the English, Welsh and Scottish wildernesses, this brave few will skate every savage hill the UK has to offer even if it is knee deep in snow. And this is your chance to join them!
This trip is not for the weary however, preparation is key as you can expect to encounter bracing blizzards, toesides on ice, drunken behaviour, smelly skateboarders and near-death experiences. Please bring supplies, warm clothes and snow shovels. If you do decide to embark on this journey, the rewards may be exceptional. While pushing your limits to what never thought possible you shall experience the most breath-taking scenery the UK has to offer, skate faster and harder than ever before and make friendships that will last a lifetime.
Beginning at NYSB On the southern Welsh border we will skate 9 days of the greatest spots known to man including Abercynon, Baldwins Shoulder, Constrictor, Beaver Mountain, and Mecca finishing up in the Scottish Highlands after a big night out in Glasgow! Expect laughter, expect tears, expect the consumption of beverages out of shoes. Expect the journey of a lifetime.
