Yarra Ranges Downhill Festival
Event Description
Featuring 3 days of free riding and optional 6 man downhill skateboard and street luge racing on an all grip track. Situated on one of Victoria’s Mountain road gems whilst surrounded by lush and incredible scenery of the Yarra Ranges and the town of Warburton.
Racing and freeriding takes place at the top of this epic mountain.
Now returning in collaboration with ASRA & VSA as a 3 day event in 2022 there will be plenty of chill & smooth downhill skateboarding with a full track no questions asked. With hay bale protection.
Expect to reach speeds of 90km/h on a track where strategy is going to be crucial to success if you are racing otherwise expect loads of fun runs with tons of your friends.
In this years iteration we aim to ensure delivery of a full track and full hay bale protection. As well as a more efficient and organised team to bring you more runs than ever before.
This track & event is perfect for beginners-intermediates who are looking to upgrade their confidence in longboarding at fast speeds and with other riders in a safe environment with no traffic.
Rider accommodation is currently to be organised at the Warburton Holiday & Scouts Trail Centre. With facilities such as tent camping, toilets, showers, kitchens and bbq facilities.
